What's new in DbTransfer

New Design

DbTransfer got a completely new fresh, clean and user-friendly design.


New Parameter Write Mode for SQL Server, MySQL, ODBC, OLE DB, Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQLite

Now you can also update existing data with DbTransfer.

You can choose between the modes "Insert data", "Update data", "Update/insert data" and "Replace data".


Support for custom select, insert and update statements

Now you can define your own SQL statement for selecting, inserting and updating records in SQL Server, MySQL, ODBC, OLE DB, Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQLite databases.


Recent and Saved Settings

Now all transfer settings are saved automatically so you can reuse them later with a single click. You can also explicitly save settings and give them a name.

Support for native Data Types of Microsoft Excel Files

You can now choose if DbTransfer should write and read data in Excel files as native Excel Data Types (e.g. for Numbers, Dates, Currencies etc...) or as texts.


Customizable Data Formats

You can now define how data types like Date, Date Time, Time, Booleans, Numbers and Currencies will be formatted when exporting or importing data.


Customizable XML Data Format

When exporting or importing XML files you can now choose if the XML File will contain only the data or the data and the schema.


Option to disable Triggers when importing data to Microsoft SQL Server

When importing data into an Microsoft SQL Database you can choose now if you want DbTransfer to automatically disable all Triggers on the Tables where data will be written to.


Option to preserve Identity

You can now choose if the values of identity columns should be preserved (auto increment will not be used) when you import data into an Microsoft SQL Database.

Native Support for MySQL

MySQL is now natively supported in DbTransfer. You do no longer need to have the MySQL ODBC driver installed on the Computer where running DbTransfer.


Native Support for Oracle

Oracle is now natively supported in DbTransfer. You do no longer need to have the Oracle Client Software installed on the Computer where running DbTransfer.


Customizable NULL Text for Excel and CSV Files

You can now configure what text should be used to represent NULL values in Excel and CSV files.


Improved User Interface

We have improved the graphical user interface of DbTransfer to make it even more intuitive.
